Hi I’m Logan Thielbert, I am the creator of logeypump23 on TikTok. I live in Denver, Colorado and I’m 28 years old. I started out making just regular videos on TikTok just by myself but I soon discovered that I had a talent for imitating Elmo's voice, so from there on out, I started making content with an Elmo puppet. The videos started blowing up and a lot of people started noticing my talent for not only doing an Elmo voice but having good quality fun videos.
Growing up I’ve always been the type of person to be the leader of the group, I’ve always had creative ideas and wanted to do things my own way. I knew something had to click, I started out with Vine doing small videos on there but it wasn’t until TikTok that I found my calling and what I am really good at. I’ve always listened to the motivational speeches on don’t be afraid to do what you want and don’t be afraid to cross boundaries. Everyone’s got their own way of doing things so I figured I’m gonna do things my own way and no matter what the outcome is I’ll take it.
This is the craziest thing but I really don’t brainstorm any of my ideas, they honestly come to my head and when they do, I take that moment to create a video with Elmo and I play it off that. I have never written anything down on a piece of paper for a video. Kind of like when a rapper just freestyles off the top of his head that’s what I do with my videos. I figure the best videos come unannounced, I think later on in the future I will probably plan videos depending on how long they are but for now, they are working out perfectly.
The most video editing platform that I use is video shop from the App Store, you can really get into detail with the videos on this app and put music even sound effects on your videos which helps a lot with my Elmo videos. I hope to soon have merch for my fans to buy but that is a road I haven’t crossed just yet but I hope to soon.
I think one of my biggest fears was that nobody was going to like my content or was going to be appalled by what my content had in it. I have had people tell me that I shouldn’t curse in my videos, but that is one boundary I don’t mind crossing because it makes my videos what they are. And one thing I realize is you can’t take those negative comments from people to heart you got to keep pushing through it, and your videos will get noticed.
I would post every day a new video on TikTok, and from there on out, the followers and views were getting higher and higher. Some videos did get taken down because of vulgar content being in them but that did not stop me from posting. There were many comments saying "your content is trash" or "you’re not going to go anywhere with this content", but I kept going with it. And now I have almost 2,000,000 followers on TikTok which I am so thankful for it just goes to show you that hard work and not giving up pays off.
My advice would be to create what you want, don’t hold back and be yourself. There are so many people that try and follow somebody else or copy what their content is, just be your own person.
There will be a lot of bumps on the road but once you get over those it will be smooth sailing.
My biggest milestone was reaching 1 million followers on TikTok, it was the biggest achievement I have accomplished with my content and I was so happy.
I haven’t hired anybody to do my marketing or anything like that I do all my stuff by myself but I’m sure soon enough I will need people to help me with marketing and growing my brand, for now, I post on Instagram YouTube and TikTok and hopefully, my brand can grow from there.
There have been a few people that have offered certain types of sponsorships but nothing that I want to sponsor yet so hopefully in the near future something comes along that I will be glad to sponsor.
